The Fastenal Sales and Store Operations Internship is designed to familiarize candidates with the operation of a Fastenal store and prepare them for a future in sales and store management. A few of the features of the program are:

Weekly Rotations – Inside/Outside Sales, Asset Mgt, Distribution, Marketing, Procurement
Flexible M-F Hours, 20 hour minimum per week
Fall, Spring, or Summer Semester Internships available: Fastenal Interns are PAID $10/hr.
Each intern is assigned a mentor to assist in development

Fastenal Company is a service-based corporation where a typical workday is the exception. As an employee, you will be challenged with new and diverse job responsibilities each day. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Inside Sales/Counter Sales/Customer Service
Order placement and fulfillment
Inventory control and Warehouse Functions
Merchandising
Local deliveries w/company vehicle

Successful candidates must:
Possess a valid drivers license and have a good driving record
Possess excellent communication skills
Possess the ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a team environment
Have strong attention to detail
