INTERNSHIP Announcement
Internship Title/Department: Marketing Internship Location

Start date: Beginning of Summer
Duration: 12 Weeks full-time. Option to continue part-time during the fall.
Qualifications, Duties & Responsibilities: The internship program provides the student with the opportunity to gain experience and a solid understanding of advertising and marketing of custom countertops as well as retail operations. The student reports to the retail sales manager and works with the advertising agency of record to further develop retail sales. The student contributes to all aspects of the marketing strategy by applying their basic understanding of market research, direct marketing, public relations, and inside sales to help develop the retail business segment. Daily responsibilities include general administrative duties, database mining, prospecting, inside sales calls and appointment setting, occasional copywriting and editing of advertising creative, assistance with market research, database production, proposal development, along with other project work. The student should be seeking a degree in business and have had some marketing coursework and/or general sales experience. Proficiency in Excel, PPT and MS Word is required.
