The Buzzards Bay Coalition is seeking an intern-like person (or 2 or 3) to help plan a film festival for its 25th Anniversary. The Fest itself will be Sun 11/11/2012 at the Zeiterion theatre in New Bedford Ma, with timeline TBD for submissions and judging during 2012. There would be poster distribution early in the year to solicit film submissions, then later in the year to promote the event itself.
Here's a preliminary list of duties:
• Review lists of schools and find appropriate contacts to promote festival
• Pre-screen incoming films
• Log incoming films and file
• Answer queries about festival
• Distribute and post posters
• Contact and communicate with film makers
• Assist at the festival - tickets, seating, helping prepare for q and a's, arranging film maker appearances etc
• Recruit more volunteers!
