In addition, interns will have the opportunity to work in conjunction with seasoned professionals in specific fields handling day-to-day responsibilities, helping with special projects, and attending departmental meetings. To enhance their work experience, interns will become familiar with all aspects of book publishing through educational sessions that feature speakers from all parts of the company. This is a paid internship. Students must also be able to make arrangements to live in the Boston area over the summer. We do not have an official housing program.

Responsibilities:The intern will assist with the daily Cost Vouchering process which includes opening and sorting mail, vouchering invoices, photocopying, and filing. The intern will also work with Distribution Finance, which will include pulling invoices from our image database. Additionally, they will provide general office support including data entry and assisting with daily projects.

Requirements:Ideal candidate will have the following:
- An interest in a career in finance
- Must be able to handle confidential information
- Possess excellent written, organizational, and communication skills- Ability to work with close attention to detail
- Possess superior time management and organizational skills that enable one to handle multiple projects simultaneously while keeping shifting priorities in order
- Flexibility to work in both a team environment and independently is a must
