Financial Analyst Intern

Kelly Services is partnering with Shire Pharmaceuticals to offer an
exciting internship program with a world-class pharmaceutical organization.

Requirements for the Shire U.S. Internship Program

* Must be enrolled at an accredited college/university
* Must have completed at least their freshman year of undergraduate
study by internship start date – Undergraduate and Graduate students who
choose to apply will be considered
* Major required in a field appropriate to the internship
* Minimum grade point average of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale preferred
* Legally authorized to work in the US
* Must be at least 18 years of age
* Must be able to start on one of the designated start dates.
* Shire will accept and consider intern applications from relatives of
employees. Individuals will not be hired if they are in the direct line
of supervision of a relative or if there is a work related conflict of
interest.

Position details

*
Financial Analyst - Financial Analyst INTERN Candidate will participate
heavily in process improvement projects associated with financial
planning cycles budget, forecasting, and long range plan financial
reporting and decision support. The candidate will:
o
Enhance and automate any monthly reporting
o
Assist in the design and implementation of a new budget process
o
Development of training materials
o
Facilitate local onsite and web-based training for Sales Marketing staff
Candidate will assist in key financial planning and analysis for Global
Commercial Operations Candidate will support the Commercial Finance team
with product launch readiness activities.
o
Strong spreadsheet and database skills are required.
o
Successful candidate should be working toward a degree in Finance.
o
Strong communication skills required
