The Sales Internship is an entry-level sales position, which can lead to a promising career with Mondelēz International upon graduation.  This position is designed to properly fulfill merchandising needs of the customer. Areas of focus will include full shelf conditions, neatly merchandised displays and shelves, properly rotated stock, and accurate price tags/point of sale in place for all departments. This position will be responsible for maintaining a timely and accurate call schedule.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Keep retailer's shelves and displays fully stocked and rotated.
  • Build and service existing displays.
  • Work with current Sales Representatives to learn key aspects of the position
  • Provide support and service to meet customer needs.
  • Participate in a group project with peer-interns and present findings at the end of the summer.
  • Network with Mondelēz International and Employees and learn about Mondelēz business

Requirements/ Hiring Profile:


  • In process of receiving undergraduate Business Degree
  • Rising Junior status preferred or Rising Senior will be considered.  Must be graduating in 2016 or 2015 to be a candidate for this internship.
  • Record of strong academic performance.
  • Demonstrated work experience (i.e., internships, previous jobs)
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities (i.e., led an academic or extracurricular program, community involvement)
  • Availability from mid or end of May through mid-August is required for this internship

  • You must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of auto insurance.
  • A flexible work schedule is required - ability to work weekends. 
  • Previous Retail/Grocery experience is a plus.
  • Ability to perform hard work in a fast-paced work environment and meet defined physical activities (lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, etc.).
  • Strong interpersonal and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Strong planning and organization skills.
  • Successful completion of drug test, MVR check, and general background check.
  • Internet access required

PAID Finance (or Accounting) Internship (Providence)

University Emergency Medicine Foundation (UEMF), is the academic emergency medicine physician practice plan of the Department of Emergency Medicine at the Alpert Medical School of Brown University, and Lifespan’s Rhode Island Hospital and The Miriam Hospital. With more than 85 full time member physicians and 30 mid-level providers, UEMF provides emergency department staffing for Rhode Island Hospital, the region’s only Level I trauma center; Hasbro Children’s Hospital, the state’s only children’s specialty hospital; and The Miriam Hospital, which is a leading community teaching hospital. All UEMF member physicians are board certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine.

In the clinical arena, UEMF member physicians and providers treat over 200,000 patients per year at our 3 clinical sites, drawing patients from the greater Providence area, the State of Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts, and parts of Connecticut. The Anderson Emergency Center at Rhode Island Hospital is one of the busiest in the nation, and provides a full range of tertiary care. Hasbro Children’s Hospital, is the center for children’s care in the region, and is a pediatric trauma center. The Miriam Hospital is a highly-regarded community teaching hospital, which has Magnet nursing status and a reputation for high-quality care and high levels of patient satisfaction.

As a non-profit foundation, UEMF is committed to completing its mission and vision including academic and research support. UEMF physicians and research personnel conduct a wide variety of research in basic science, clinical practices, and public health. UEMF member physicians train 48 emergency medicine resident physicians in the prestigious Brown University/ Rhode Island Hospital Emergency Medicine Residency Program. UEMF also sponsors a number of fellowship programs in conjunction with Rhode Island Hospital and Brown University. Position Available: Finance Intern (Part-Time)

UEMF is currently seeking a professional, positive, and self-motivated individual to assume our part-time Finance Intern position. The Finance Intern will support the day-to-day operations of the Finance and Accounting departments. Duties will include, but will not be limited to, assisting with the reporting, analysis, and development of financial information. He or she will assist in the preparation of the monthly consolidated reporting package and department reporting package; prepare accruals and related account analysis; and assist in project analysis.
Position reports to: UEMF Director of Finance
Location: Providence, RI
Start date: ASAP
End date: Flexible. If the intern is able to stay on through the summer and into the next academic year, that would be great
Schedule: M-F, flexible; 15-20 hours per week total
This is a paid internship.
Required Qualifications
  1. Must be currently enrolled at an accredited University or College as an undergraduate junior or senior or graduate student in a declared major of Finance, Business Management, Mathematics or a similar discipline 
  2. Must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 
  3. Must be available to work 15-20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
  4. Effective written and verbal communications skills are essential
  5. Ability to possess a high degree of discretion, professionalism and maturity in the workplace
  6. Excellent statistical analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills preferred
  7. Prior finance and/or accounting experience preferred
  8. Must possess ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
  9. Must submit a background release form and demonstrate proof of being free from disqualifying information
