Overview of the internship/coop objectives: *shipping and receiving. objectives include helping to run/organize the parts department.
Primary duties and responsibilities: *include helping run all facets of the parts department. Data entry, physical organization of materials, researching parts. *Helping off the street customers and employees find the parts they need.
What will the student learn from this experience? *will learn how shipping and receiving operates. will get a sense for how a boat yard runs.
Job Title: *stock room assistant
Compensation: *min wage - hourly
*Academic preparation of the student required (graduate, senior, junior, courses taken, GPA, etc.): *undergraduates would be fine. Need an organized, responsible student that is detail oriented.
Skills required: *organization skills key. keyboarding skills. interpersonal skills. research skills.
Hours of work: *flexible. potentially 15 - 20 hrs/week
Start and end dates: *flexible. could start any time. could be ongoing.
