Internship Description: Assists accountants and other staff with various bookkeeping and other financial duties associated with the healthcare industry. Data entry, account reconciliations, recording journal entries, entering data into AP system, researching outstanding checks, assisting with vendor files, preparing invoices to be posted to system, researching invoice discrepancies, filing.

Qualifications: Ideal candidate will be in school for accounting, finance or business and possess strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, demonstrated time management skills, proficient computer skills, with basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. (Meditech knowledge a plus.)

Education: Working toward 2 or 4 year degree

Public [bus] transportation is available nearby, but a car is recommended.

·         Potentially support development of digital presentations related to sales and marketing efforts.
Requirements
Applicants should be marketing, management information systems, communications or related majors. Excellent organizational and communications skills, and experience with related software such as Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint will also be considered when reviewing applications.

Hours & Compensation
