Local marketing internship

Mariner Seafood of New Bedford is looking for a marketing intern.  Their corporate/administrative offices are located at 686 Belleville Ave.  They also just opened a processing plant on Hassey Street in July 2010.

Mariner is an importer/exporter of frozen seafood and processor of fresh seafood to distributors, wholesalers and retail businesses.   They have a lot of great things going on and they are going to launch a new retail line of products. 

 Mariner is looking for an intern specifically to help with marketing.  They are in the process of updating their website and all their marketing materials as they as launching a new retail bag program. They currently do not have a dedicated person to handle the marketing aspect of their company.  they have a graphic designer that is working on the bag program but they need help in verification of accuracy of the templates, etc.

Their goal is to have someone part-time to assist with editing, updating marketing materials as the assist in gathering market information.

Marketing Intern

 

The Marketing Intern will assist with various marketing related activities including the following:

 

• Assist with updating company websites
• Perform database updates
• Help design company literature, brochures, manuals, business cards, labels, posters, banners etc.
• Help create email marketing campaigns and track results.
• Prepare materials for trade shows, arrange shipping, help pack crates.
• Help process sales leads into the company database.
• Prepare product samples for worldwide sales force, package components, help with inventory of items.

 

Requirements:

 

Some experience with either Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, or Illustrator helpful.

Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Concordia Boats (www.concordiaboats.com), a full service boat yard located at 300 Gulf Road, S. Dartmouth, MA. is looking for an intern.

Primary duties and responsibilities include helping run all facets of the parts department.  Data entry, physical organization of materials, researching parts. Helping off the street customers and employees find the parts they need.
