Human Resources Internship – Summer 2007

Description:
Under guidance from experienced professionals, this position will provide support across several functions within Human Resources – specifically Recruiting and Benefits.
Recruiting:
· Participate in the redesign of the careers section of the corporate website.
· Attend career fairs as a representative of Ocean Spray Cranberries, Inc.
· Write and edit content for the Diversity Newsletter
· Design and build a College Recruiting Database
· Design and build a Recruiting Agency Database
· Assist with the implementation of an Applicant Tracking System
Benefits:
· Assist with the coordination of wellness activities
· Design and build a database/list/marketing materials for discount programs
· Audit vendor reports and identify discrepancies
· Write and edit content for Open Enrollment communications (may include posters, flyers)
· Assist with compensation administration
Interns are assigned objectives that support key business initiatives and are provided an outline of the deliverables and expected measurable results. Feedback against these objectives is provided mid-way through and upon completion of the internship. Additionally, you will be evaluated on following competencies that are core to our success:

Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Ability requirements
· Candidates should have completed at least three years in an undergraduate Business program.
· Excellent analytical skills along with strong knowledge of Excel, Microsoft Word, and Power Point
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Must be results oriented with strong attention to detail and deadlines
Duration & Location
· Position will start in May/June and run through August 2007 – candidates must be available for a minimum of 10 weeks.
· Monday – Thursday 8:00am – 4:45pm, Friday 8:00am – 12:30pm
· Position is located at our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA (about 45 minutes South of Boston – Exit 6 off of Rte 495)
· This position will pay a competitive hourly rate ($14 - $15/hour) – based on experience, GPA, and academic achievement
