Summer Internship Program State Street Corp. Boston
The internships are in the following possible areas:
CORPORATE AUDIT: Our Corporate Audit group is responsible for providing State Street’s Board of Directors and management with independent and objective assessments of the design and operating effectiveness of our internal controls system.
CORPORATE FINANCE: Finance plays a significant role which goes beyond maintaining oversight of the company’s finances and ensuring budget commitments are met. We interact with every business line and corporate support function within State Street.
GLOBAL HUMAN RESOURCES: From employee benefits information to career management tools and more, GHR is focused on developing and delivering global business solutions to support the needs of business partners companywide.
GLOBAL MARKETS: State Street Global Markets, our investment research and trading arm, provides specialized research, trading, securities lending and innovative portfolio strategies to owners and managers of institutional assets.
GLOBAL SERVICES: Our investment servicing business, now known as State Street Global Services, provides the essential financial infrastructure for delivering effective investment servicing solutions globally.

LEGAL: The Legal division provides counsel that helps State Street successfully navigate complex legal and regulatory environments, maximize business opportunities, and minimize legal, regulatory, reputational and other risk.
PROCUREMENT: The Global Procurement Services division assesses client requirements, the business marketplace, and supplier capabilities to deliver the most efficient, cost-effective recommendations possible.
Graphic Design Intern (Chartwells)
Assist the location management team through development, production and implementation of tactical marketing initiatives aimed at increasing customer retention, improving image, improving margins and increasing market share for Dining Services. Emphasis on customer satisfaction and growing base business.
Duties
1. Responsible for UMass Dining Services publicity materials and creating advertising pieces (flyers, banners, etc) that appeal to our customers, while uploading our company's image.
2. Produce print and online advertising pieces for all events hosted by Dining Services.
4. Works with others, such as printers, programmers, developers or other technicians, to complete the final product.
5. Help maintain Dine on Campus website, promoting both retail and board dining programs.
6. Collaborating with other interns on projects.
7. Any other duties assigned by Dining Service Managers
Must be a junior or senior and a marketing/advertising or graphic design major. Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and complete assignments involving multiple functions in a timely manner. Excellent technical, written and oral communication skills are required. Individual must be a self-starter and very detailed oriented. Have graphic design skills and be able to work with a variety of programs to design flyers, banners, etc. Minimum of 10 - 12 hours/week. Examples of previously design work required at interview.
This is a semesterly position for class credit and a nonpaid internship.

Social Media Marketing Intern (Chartwells)

2. Staying up to date on Social Media trends and always help looking for the next big thing.
3. Help develop and maintain Dine on Campus website, promoting both retail and board dining programs.
4. Maintain all social media websites.
5. Helping develop and implement Text on Campus campaigns.
6. Collaborating with other interns on projects.
7. Any other duties assigned by Dining Service Managers

Marketing Co-Op/ Intern
Double E is an international engineering and manufacturing company. We design and manufacture machine accessories for the paper, film and foil converting and packaging industries.
Marketing Co-Op/ Intern
The Marketing Intern will assist with various marketing related activities including the following:
- Assist with updating company websites
- Perform database updates
- Help design company literature, brochures, manuals, business cards, labels, posters, banners etc.
- Help create email marketing campaigns and track results.
- Prepare materials for trade shows, arrange shipping, help pack crates.
- Help process sales leads into the company database.
- Prepare product samples for worldwide sales force, package components, help with inventory of items.
Requirements:
Some experience with either Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver, or Illustrator helpful.
Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
